The BiBo owners are extremely passionate about the finest wines because wine is a critical aspect of the Italian experience. Growing up on acres of vineyards with wine culture and enthusiasts around them, it is no surprise that Lorenzo went on to develop his appreciation for wine to become a sommelier.

From the North West Piemonte region of Italy, Lorenzo Bottazzi’s family owns and operates the Monterosso vineyard estate.

Originally built in the year 1530 and used as a convent by priests, Lorenzo’s great grandfather, the First Count of Bottazzi, purchased the property in 1860. His great grandfather used this estate as a summer country home, composed with a villa, small church, horse stables, hunting house  and winery.

The Bottazzi family has continued making wine from the vineyards but has only kept it for private consumption. The grapes grown in this region are highly sought after by other vineyard operators.

Lorenzo is the first in the family to bottle the Monterosso wine into a business venture, and offer the exclusive BiBo wine at the restaurant. All of the bottled wines from Lorenzo’s Italian vineyard are organic with no added chemicals.
